Photographic Essay: The Fishing Harbour

90% of the fishermen in Abu Dhabi’s main fishing harbour come from Gujarat’s Bulsar district in India. When they’re not out catching fish under the UAE’s scorching sun, the Indian fishermen spend most of their days and nights on the wooden dhows stationed in Mina Zayed. These photos offer a very brief glimpse of daily life in the harbour.
